Congratulations to Anika A. Taporco for securing the Bronze Medal in the Taekwondo event at the PALARONG PAMBANSA Continuity Games, where she represented Region XI out of 17 competing regions. The prestigious competition took place at Seaside, Cebu City, where Anika demonstrated her exceptional skills, dedication, and determination.

Throughout the event, Anika triumphed over strong opponents from MMAROPA, APSO, and Region 8, showcasing her strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

In addition, Anika Taporco, a Grade 10 student at ASKAPS Academy, was honored by the Department of Education for her exceptional achievement at the 2024 Palarong Pambansa. She received her Bronze Medal in the Taekwondo Secondary Girls Category during the "Araw ng Parangal at Pasasalamat para sa Matagumpay na mga Dabawenyong Atleta" event held at the SMX Convention Center.

ASKAPS Shiners Basketball Team (12U) Triumphs in GAISANO GRAND CUP (GG CUP)

The ASKAPS Shiners basketball team has claimed victory in the GAISANO GRAND CUP (GG CUP), defeating Davao Christian High School with an impressive score of 56-44! 🏀

This well-earned win reflects the dedication, hard work, and exceptional teamwork of the players. Their perseverance and commitment to excellence have truly paid off.

ASKAPS Academy Basketball Team (17U) Triumphs in SUGEE Inter-School Basketball League

ASKAPS Academy secured a thrilling victory over Immanuel School of Davao, winning with a narrow score of 49-47 in the SUGEE Inter-School Basketball League. 

A special congratulations to Daniel Ryne Damiar, who was named MVP of the game for his outstanding performance!

DAPRISA Games 2024: ASKAPS Academy Chess Team

At the DAPRISA Games 2024, held at GMall Bajada, our chess players went up against 30 other schools, demonstrating impressive skill and determination. Representing the Boys' Team were Ezekiel Cohitmingao and Zian Balon, while the Girls' Team consisted of Jakein Lacre and Breanna Pielago. 

The Boys' Team secured 8th place out of 16 schools, while the Girls' Team finished 11th out of 14 schools. Well done to all the players for their hard work and sportsmanship!

In another exciting highlight from the DAPRISA Games, Eurimdel Lacre and Ernn Ebale represented ASKAPS Academy in the 2024 DAPRISA High School Chess Tournament on November 13, 2024, at GMall Bajada, where they each secured 1 win and 1 loss on the first day. Their journey has just begun, and we look forward to seeing their continued success!

Justine Seth Muñez Claims 3rd Runner-Up in Lawn Tennis at DAPRISA Games!

We are thrilled to announce that Justine Seth Muñez has secured 3rd Runner-Up in Lawn Tennis at the DAPRISA Games!

This remarkable achievement is particularly special as it marks Justine’s first time competing in the event. Despite this being her debut, Justine showcased incredible skill, determination, and sportsmanship. Her hard work and dedication truly paid off, earning her a prestigious spot on the podium.
